Toothsure Presents OralVac and OralVac+ at Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange

A rare pre-contract invitation puts Toothsure's bedside oral care systems in front of the health system leaders who shape purchasing decisions.

On September 24, 2026, Toothsure exhibited its OralVac and OralVac+ oral care systems at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange in Las Vegas. The Exchange brings together hospital and health system decision-makers with medical technology companies whose products have been selected for Vizient's attention.
Toothsure was invited as a supplier under formal review in Vizient's Innovative Technology Program.
Why this selection matters
Vizient is one of the largest group purchasing organizations (GPOs) in the United States. Its contracts help hospitals and health systems nationwide decide which products reach the bedside.
The Innovative Technology Exchange has historically featured products already on a Vizient contract. Participation before contracting is rare. It is reserved for a select group of suppliers undergoing formal Innovative Technology review.
For Toothsure, this meant two things:
Direct access to decision-makers. We met face to face with hospital and health system leaders who help guide contracting decisions, before those decisions are made.
Validation of the need. Selection for formal review signals that provider leaders see bedside oral care as a problem worth solving, and see our approach as worth evaluating.
What we presented
Oral care is a recognized part of preventing hospital-acquired pneumonia. In practice, it often slips because traditional protocols need multiple components, preparation steps, and nursing time that is already stretched.
Toothsure's systems are built to remove those barriers. Both are pre-filled, single-use devices that combine brushing, rinse delivery and suction in one unit, with no sink required.
OralVac simplifies routine oral care for general hospital and care-facility patients, and supports patient independence where possible.
OralVac+ is designed for critically ill patients, including those who are intubated. It delivers a measured amount of rinse with integrated suction, giving clinicians control over fluid at the bedside.
Fewer steps make it more likely that oral care is delivered consistently, shift after shift. That consistency is where outcomes can improve.
What comes next
OralVac and OralVac+ now move forward in Vizient's contract review, where a council of provider experts evaluates each technology and makes a contracting recommendation. We view Vizient adoption as a key commercial milestone on the path to scale.
The Exchange also follows Toothsure's recognition as Top Oral Care Device 2026 by MedTech Outlook. Together, these milestones reflect growing interest in making bedside oral care simpler, safer and more consistent.
We thank the Vizient Innovative Technology team and every clinician and health system leader who stopped by to talk with us in Las Vegas. Hospitals, care facilities, clinical partners and investors who would like to learn more can contact us.
